A divorce is stressful enough, but when child custody is involved it can get ugly really quick. Unfortunately, there are times when the underlying reason for child custody isn’t about the children at all. It’s just one more way to get back at their Ex for all the “horrible things” that they have done. This is the worst situation because the only one who ends up getting hurt is the children. That’s why I felt compelled to write this article. My wife and I have been have been in a “heated” battle for her daughter for over a year now. Her ex-husband is a manipulative “know it all” who is purposely limiting my wife’s contact with her daughter. My wife lost custody several years ago when she had to leave the state they were living in because of the constant harassment and threats being made by her Ex. At the time, the judge could not make a decision on custody and my wife was not allowed to take her daughter out of the state. It was not long after that her Ex’s high price attorney was able to get the judge to grant him full custody simply because my wife now lived out-of-state. Needless to say, my wife was devastated. She didn’t think it could happen just like that with no consideration given to her situation. So in an instant, she went from having 50:50 custody to seeing her daughter only 6 weeks out of the year.

David Boillot, 51 and Amber Elias, 25 were taken into custody on suspicion of sex crimes involving Elias’ three children aged 14 months, 4 years and 5 years old. Elias may have kidnapped them from her former husband’s home in San Diego. Their father became suspicious when the children were returned and he reported to the police that he believed they had been molested and abused.

The police arrested Boillot on suspicion of three counts of public sexual indecency, one count of child molestation and three counts of furnishing obscene material to minors, according to police. Elias was booked on suspicion of two counts of public sexual indecency, two counts of child molestation and three counts of sexual abuse.

According to Friday’s Nuclear Market Review (NMR), two off-market transactions were reported this past week for more than 500 thousand pounds U3O8 equivalent. NMR editor Treva Klingbiel wrote, “Both transactions were in negotiations prior to the steep price rise last week and reflect prices below the currently published levels.” NMR did not provide exact details of the sales price(s). The weekly spot uranium price indicator remained unchanged at US$113/pound.

No transactions took place in the long-term market. No new demand emerged. Uranium transaction volume for 2007 year-to-date remains the third lowest for the past decade. Only transaction volumes in 1997 and 2001 were lower at this point of the annual cycle.
